We at Sardis believe that kids are not the church of the future but rather the church of today so this team exists to help our children develop a love and passion for Christ as soon as possible in their lives! Our S.H.I.N.E Kids Ministry strives to help our kids Seek Him IN Everything they do so that they can make a God size difference in the world around them! From our SHINE Kid’s Church to Vacation Bible School we dedicate ourselves to loving children with the love of Christ and making the Bible come to life for them so that they can come to life for HIM!!!!

Our S.H.I.N.E. Kid’s Ministry is made up of several sub-teams so check them out below to learn a little more about what we have for your kids and where you can serve in this vital ministry!

S.H.I.N.E. Kid’s Church
Each Sunday during both morning services kids up to 5th grade are dismissed to go learn the Bible on their level through exciting games, arts and crafts, and easy to understand and apply Bible lessons!

S.H.I.N.E. Nursery
Infants are cared for with love, safety, and sincerity each Sunday during both morning services as well as our Sunday small groups at 9:45am.

Sunday School
Sardis offers classes for all ages at 9:45am every Sunday. Kids will have an amazing time learning about the Bible from people who love teaching them and love seeing your kids experience the love of Christ!

Kid’s Choir
On most Sunday nights our kids get together and learn songs that they perform for the church during Sunday morning or evening services! We want our kids to know they can be a part of our worship services too!

Vacation Bible School
During the summer each year, we devote an entire week to providing every child in our community, church, and surrounding areas to experience the Word of God in an exciting, powerful, and relevant way through VBS! The themes change from year to year but our mission remains the same: Help as many kids as possible develop a love and passion for Christ as soon as possible in their lives! It takes a lot of work and volunteers to make VBS happen but every year kids come to know Christ as Savior and we are able to minister to families that otherwise we would not be able to!
